FOCP coordinates the national hazard analysis
The elaboration of a national hazard analysis is an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary task that includes the corresponding authorities at the federal and cantonal levels as well as academia and the corporate sector. Therefore, this work will be conducted by several mutually complementary bodies and coordinated by the Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP).
Broad support in the federal administration

Knowledge transfer in the Forum ‘Risks Switzerland’
The Forum ‘Risks Switzerland’ includes representatives of various cantons, academia, and the corporate sector. In particular, the forum discusses aspects of methodology and contributes deliberations on the applicability of the products generated by ‘Risks Switzerland’ as well as know-how in the various areas of expertise to the hazard analysis.
Strategic-political support
Supervision of the work coordination in the framework of ‘Risks Switzerland’ lies with the interdepartmental commission ‘Risks Switzerland’. It supplies political-strategic support and is composed of one representative each of the federal departments as well as the Federal Chancellery.
