408.985 PCP: Preservation - Protection - Respect

Book: A4 format, colour
Year of publication: 2004 (CHF 29.50)
The publication should raise awareness among a wide public of cultural property protection issues and provide a snapshot of the fascinating diversity of cultural property in Switzerland.
In addition to a historical introduction and a section devoted to the organisation of PCP in Switzerland, the book is divided into 12 chapters, each dealing with a particular PCP issue, such as hazards, protective measures, as well as the tasks and objectives of Protection of Cultural Property in Switzerland. Between the chapters, there is a six-page written and pictorial presentation of five items of cultural property from each of Switzerland's 26 cantons. These articles reveal the outstanding richness of Swiss cultural heritage.
